Happy Spring

We are still seeing old man winter and wondering where spring is?   All the residents are looking forward to seeing flowers and green grass and, maybe even taking a stroll in the sunshine.  But despite the weather everyone is staying busy with fun activities and enjoying our delicious meals with good company.  The first Wednesday of each month we have “bring a friend to lunch”.  It is nice to have friends visit our beautiful home, enjoy a nice meal and celebrate great friendships. We are looking forward to getting out on the many adventures that are being planned, like visiting Kitty City and watching our Amish neighbors make rugs and baskets. Also when it does get warmer we will be making a trip to visit local  green houses to pick out the flowers for our outside gardens!

Happy Spring!

Lazy Summertime Days at Neillsville Retirement Community

It has been a very hot summer but the residents are loving it.  They enjoy the sun and the warmth and say that winter will soon be here when we will be wanting all this warm weather back.  The residents sit outside in the cool shade and for sure are savoring every minute of it.  They have also been enjoying all the entertainment by Jerry Strack, a native Neillsville resident, that now lives in Wisconsin Rapids.  Also Phil John from Marshfield and Steve and Doris Szydel from Altoona keep the music flowing to the enjoyment of all.  And did we mention all the fun at our Wednesday’s Happy Hour?
